After meeting you at the port, we will go to the Marseille Old Port and have a walking tour around the oldest part of the city. You will see the Old Port, Le Panier, La Major cathedral. Then we will go by car to the Notre-Dame de la Garde basilica and enjoy wonderful panoramic views of Marseille. After the Notre-Dame, we will head to Cassis, a small and cosy resort village. Finally, we will visit the gem of the Mediterranean sea - the Calanques. This place is so beautiful that you will definitely want to see it again.

PROGRAMME

  • We will meet you at the port, right after your ships arrives to Marseille)
  • We will go by car to the Marseille central part – the Old Port. It is considered to be the heart of Marseille
  • We will walk along the oldest Marseille part – Le Panier: ancient buildings of City Hall, the Diamond House, La Vieile Charité and the true Marseille soap shops (containing 72% of olive oil). We will visit the majestic La Major cathedral. We will have some coffee at an ancient, more than 2600 years old! Place de Lenche
  • Then we will go up to the Notre-Dame de la Garde basilica by car. There you will have an opportunity to enjoy wonderful panoramic views of Marseille
  • After the Notre-Dame, we will head to Cassis, a lovely resort village . We will have a walking tour there
  • Our visit to the Calanques National Park will start from the Port Miou Calanque, where we will begin our acquaintance with the wonderful Mediterranean nature. We will arrive to the magical Point Pin Calanque and swim its turquoise waters (if you wish). The water there is so clear that you will feel you are in an aquarium created by nature itself! Get ready to be thrilled by many colourful and unique landscapes
